We have three rooms available, offering flexible accommodation for up to seven guests.
The Hallsworth Suite is our largest room. It overlooks the river and the garden and has an en suite bathroom.
The McAllister Room overlooks the river and has an en suite bathroom. The bathroom also has a connecting door to the hall – lockable from the inside so there’s no risk someone will burst in while you’re singing in the shower.
The Robertson Room, our most flexible room, can be made up as three single beds or as a super king plus a single. However, it doesn’t have its own bathroom. There’s a connecting door to the Hallsworth Suite. The Hallsworth-Robertson combination is particularly good for families of up to five – Mum & Dad in the Hallsworth and up to three kids in the Robertson. This combination probably less well-suited for adult sharers since the bathroom is accessed via the Hallsworth Suite.
For parties of adults who are happy to share a bathroom, the combination of the McAllister Room and Robertson Room is probably better suited – up to two guests in the McAllister Room with en suite bathroom and up to three guests in Robertson, accessing the McAllister bathroom via a short walk across the hall.
All of our guest bedrooms are on the first floor and are accessible only via the main staircase. Both our en suites have a shower-over-the-bath arrangement. We may not be the most suitable accommodation for you if you have limited mobility.
After a hard day’s sight-seeing, you’re welcome to relax in our comfortable drawing room with its views of the garden and river. There’s a wood burning stove to keep you cosy if there’s a chill in the air. In the warmer months, you can relax outside at the table and chairs on the terrace in the well-known Scottish sunshine.
Breakfast is served in our dining room, where we aim to serve food that’s locally-sourced, home-grown or home-produced – meats from our award-winning local butcher; eggs from our own hens; home-made jams and marmalades; and berries from the kitchen garden when in season. Low food miles and you won’t find anything fresher!
There’s ample safe parking at the front of the house. If you have a motorbike or bicycle that you’d like to keep under cover overnight then we can offer space in our garage. We also have a drying room for any wet weather gear.
Hallsworth Suite
Our largest room is dual aspect, overlooking the river and garden. It features a luxurious super king sleigh bed and an en suite bathroom with a traditional-style roll-top shower-bath.
McAllister Room
Slightly cosier and with a charming view of the river, this room has a king size bed and flamboyant en-suite bathroom with shower-bath.
Robertson Room
Overlooking the garden, this highly adaptable room can be made up with three single beds or as a super king bed and one single. It can be let with either the Hallsworth Suite (ideal for families) or with the McAllister Room (accommodating a party of up to five, sharing a bathroom).
All of our rooms are furnished with:

- Flat screen TV with Freeview
- Free WiFi
- Hairdryer
- Tea and coffee-making facilities with home-made biscuits
All of our guests have use of the guest fridge on the landing, where fresh milk is available. An iron and ironing board are available on request.
